Hanson
Hanson : Established in 1820
A huge cranberry packinghouse, built in Hanson in 1912, eventually became the national Ocean Spray Corporation.
Hanson was named for Alexander Conte Hanson, a Maryland newspaper publisher who upheld the rights to Freedom of Free Press when he defended his right to condemn the War of 1812.
