Abington
Small town located in Plymouth County. This town was first settled in 1668 and officially incorporated in 1712. A memorial arch to Civil War veterans in 1912. {Publication B: Hobart, History of Town of Abington (Boston,1866)}
Abington Is known for Island Grove, where all the town meets during summer days for swimming lessons and cooling off.
Abington was also known for the being part of the shoe industry.
