Area sights:

Town  with five ponds, Pembroke offers swimming, boating and fishing in the summer and ice fishing and skating in the winter.

An old herring run can be found  on Rte 14. On Baker St. Early settlers depended on the herring for the winter food source. Fish here  are usually running mid April to mid- May.
